Assistant: Fiona Callander | [email protected]

I earned my Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria and I was called to the British Columbia Bar in August of 2010.

Prior to attending law school, I attended the University of British Columbia where I earned a Bachelor of Science, and a Bachelor of Education with a focus on elementary education.

As an associate with Henderson Heinrichs, my practice focuses exclusively in the area of family law. My practice includes all aspects of family law matters from drafting agreements and negotiating fair settlements, to advocating for my clients in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. I also have a keen interest in assisting clients with all types of adoption. I am trained in collaborative law and can assist clients through the collaborative process. I am conversant in Punjabi and can consult with clients in English and Punjabi.

Navigating through a family law matter is a very emotional and stressful process, exponentially so when there are children involved. As your lawyer, it is my objective to help you move your matter towards a fair resolution whether that is by negotiating a settlement or advocating for you in court. In every case, I meet with a client to discuss an approach that is best suited to his or her specific needs as every person’s situation is unique and my goal is to obtain the best possible outcome for my client.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, golfing, skiing, and travelling.

I am both a certified Family Law Mediator and a collaborative lawyer. Visit our Mediation page and Collaborative Divorce pages for more information on how mediation and collaborative law can be helpful to separating and divorcing couples.
