Henderson Heinrichs LLP was approached to begin a series of radio programs with AM650 Radio in British Columbia to help acquaint people with what services our family lawyers can offer.
Despite feeling somewhat trepidatious, our lawyers are excited by the opportunity and we all feel that the forum will give us the chance to let people get to know us and at the same time, learn some very important, interesting and applicable information about the state of family law and divorce law. Much of what the family law lawyers talk about in the program will be applicable both in Vancouver and in Toronto, especially the general legal principals.
In the first of these programs, Henderson Heinrichs partners Kevin Heinrichs has a wide ranging discussion with the host, Stirling Faux. They talk about what kind of firm Henderson Heinrichs is and why they began working as family lawyers and divorce lawyers. In the last half of the program, they discuss child support – what it’s for, how it is calculated and who should pay it.
We hope the discussion is informative and that you benefit from what we talked about. The child maintenance issue is a wide ranging one, there are many areas which the lawyers were not able to touch on in their first appearance. Hopefully, we will be able to add some more to the discussion on our future shows.
